Greetings,
I�ve installed Ethereal v.99 (GTK2 user interface) with Wincap v3.1
libraries on my Windows 98 machine. However, the application will not run.
The following terminal window error message appears:

09:11:13          Err  file emem.c: line 252: assertion failed: (ret ==
TRUE)
Press any key to exit

Additionally, there are Windows error message boxes, one referring to an
unspecified fatal error occurrence - aborting , the other referring to a
Microsoft C++ runtime library runtime error, abnormal program termination.
Any suggestions on how to resolve these problems? Thanks.
