Hi,
 
Ethereal is not designed to read packets per application. The only way i could imaging to manage this is to change an existing dissector in a way that it interpretes some application specific header information.

Hi all,

I've searched a while and want to find a plugin for ethereal to capture the packets of a special program, for example, only capturing firefox traffic while the same time never mind other program, but I got no answer.

So I am wondering if there is such kind of plugin for ethereal?
