hi, i enjoy very much editing packet so i decided to try ethereal.
I send this mail to know if with ethereal is possible to create a filter that can allow me to send some self-made data bytes, for example: i have my packet: 0000 00 0d 54 fa 91 8a 00 0e 35 4f 82 55 08 00 45 00 0010 00 3c 0a 9c 40 00 80 06 7c 33 c0 a8 01 03 51 d0 0020 60 71 04 2c 1f 95 d2 53 9f 70 7f 19 6d 23 50 18 0030 3e e4 77 9f 00 00 c6 b6 bd 0c 42 25 _41 14_ 00 00 0040 02 00 a2 ce 56 dd 00 00 00 dd my question is: is possible to modify the highlined bytes with, for example,
c9 58?
if positive how can i do?
Ethereal cannot modify or send packets.

You may have a look at http://wiki.ethereal.com/Tools, e.g. tcpreplay seems to send packets (never used it myself).
