File was saved using the default libpcap type. Platform is windows XP and
files are saved locally on a NTFS file system. Location is default
c:\documents and settings\user

Could you specify what type of capture format you save your files in?
On what platform do you run? Where do you save the files, local or
network? What kind of filesystem you save it on?
These things need to be know before any intelligent answer can be given.
