Hi,

I am looking for the description about the feature "Go to Corresponding Packet"
in the "Go" menu of the ethereal.

The user guide and some web documents show me the following one, but appreciate
you giving me more specific example, what kind of protocol or situation can use
this command?

http://linuxcommand.org/man_pages/ethereal1.html
       Go:Go To Corresponding Packet
If a field in the packet details pane containing a packet number is
selected, go to the packet number specified by that field. (This
works only if the dissector that put that entry into the packet
details put it into the details as a filterable field rather than
just as text.) This can be used, for example, to go to the packet
for the request corresponding to a reply, or the reply correspond-
ing to a request, if that packet number has been put into the
           packet details.

I tried to use that command between ICMP echo request with TTL1 and ICMP TTL exceeded,
ARP request and reply or so....but no good result.
