Sake,

I rolled back the ethereal release from 0.10.14 to 0.10.13 and it works without any setting. So I believe the vlan tagging information display/capture is broken in release 0.10.14

Thanks,
Peter

You mentioned that you used a filter, was that a capture filter? If
you don't use a filter, does that make the 802.1Q tags visible?

If so, please use the capture filter "vlan and host x.x.x.x".

If not, you will still have to find a way to get the 3com driver
to pass the tags to the upper protocols. I'm not sure whether
the 3com 3c905b is capable of doing so and if there are windows
drivers for it to make that possible. I could not quickly find
an answer to that question with google. Does anyone know if the
cards (and windows drivers) support 802.1Q?

Cheers, Sake
