I see, you're realy looking at IP traffic. I don't think there's such a
function. It would be of limited use though. The ID field is only relevant
for fragmented packets (as per FRC791), but is otherwise used in
innovative ways (like covert channels, see
http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/users/sjm217/papers/ih05coverttcp.pdf).
The value itself isn't really helpfull, since it's supposed to be
random and temporal unique. The 'innovations' try to do the same.
