Hi  there ,

 

I want to know whether Libpcap library supports Unix sockets. Instead of writing the packets on to ethernet interface, I am writing on to the Unix socket. So I wanted to know whether to capture the packets, can I use Libpcap library. I have modified the Libnet library for supporting Unix sockets. Libnet library I am using for building and writing the packets on to the ethernet interface.

 

For capturing the packets on Unix sockets can I use Libpcap library.

 

Does Libpcap library supports Unix sockets ?. Please clarify.
