When I load an H.323 VoIP trace into Ethereal V0.10.14 and use the VoIP Calls option off the stats menu, it lists the various calls in the trace. If I select one of these and click the prepare filter button, it does not always show the RTP stream only the H.323 setup packets. At best it only shows about two RTP packets and the example trace on the website "rtp_example.raw.gz", does not show any RTP packets at all, despite there being quite a few in the trace.

Is there a problem with this? I can manually filter a voice call involving the call ref value & rtp.setup-frames, but a simple method like this would be much better.

Any ideas?

Keith French.
