The packet is a NFS WRITE request.
I am not a subscriber so please CC the reply.
Because the write in question is one that's not requesting that the server only reply once the data has made it to "stable storage". I.e., the client will hold onto the data until it later does a COMMIT and is told that the data has made it to stable storage.
