Thanks for the reply. Yes the
protocol is enabled, in fact they all are. I've actually got past
the original issue. Now I would really like to know how to capture
Yahoo Messenger packets. The protocol is enabled but for some reason
I don't see any packets.

If you select "Analyze->Enabled Protocols..." from the menu,
is the
Ethernet protocol enabled?
