Adding "truncated" is probably good, although the size of the packets on 
the wire isn't what's limited, the amount of data saved is what's 
limited (which is a problem with my suggestion, too).  "Amount of packet 
data saved limited while capturing"?  That could be read as saying the 
number of packets was limited, though.

That sounds as if the size of the capture - i.e., the capture file size 
- was limited, rather than the sizes of the packets.
