I tried Export as well as Print and that had the same truncation problem.
However, "Export -> Selected Packet Bytes" appears to not truncate any data.
Still curious if there is a way to search the archives (Google "site:"
perhaps?)

Subject: Line-based text data: text/html is truncated
I'm using Ethereal to capture HTML pages. For example, if I load
the Google home page in IE, I can see the HTML in the "Line-based text data:
text/html" caputure in Ethereal. However, any lines that do not have a
carriage return before about 250 characters are truncated around the 250th
character.
I believe in version 0.10.10 there was a way to export this data to
a file in a form that was not truncated (by right clicking on the Line-based
text data: text/html" statement). However, this option is not shown in
0.10.12 and the only method I can find to export is the "Print" method. The
resulting output is also truncated.
Can someone please advise on how to eliminate this truncation?
This seems like such a common need that it would be in a FAQ or
discussed in the mailing list archives. Unfortunately, I do not see a way
to search the archives. There is only an interface to browse them by month
(is there a reason for this?).
Thank you in advance!
Jonah
