Hi,
I think the package you want is
gtk+-1.2.8-sol8-sparc-local.gz
or
gtk-2.2.4-sol8-sparc-local.gz

Subject: [Ethereal-users] Installation problem on Solaris

Hello,

I've tried to install ethereal on Solaris, but pkgadd failed: ##
Executing checkinstall script.
/var/tmp/dstreAAAmLaiLO/ethereal/install/checkinstall: gtk-config: not
found
This package requires gtk+ version >= 1.2 installed in
/usr/sfw/bin.
        Aborting installation.

But I have gtk-config installed: /usr/local/bin

Please advice
Igor Krugliak
