I am trying to install ethereal on my Macintosh Powerbook G4. I am running Mac OsX 10.3. I have tried using DarwinPorts and installed from source code. I installed all the dependent application. The only thing I can get to work is tethereal. Tethereal would be ok for now if I could get it to read a captured file. I can not even get tethereal to read a file; I captured using the -w option. I need to use ethereal for my computer networking class my instructor is of no help. He just told me to go buy a Dell.
