Hi List,

I have here a Firewall with three NIC. 
There i started tethereal as follows.

./tethereal -i any -R ip.addr == 192.168.100.100 or ip.addr == 217.6.34.4 -a
filesize:50000 -b 100 -w /var/log/trace.pcap

That works until two days without problems.
Afterwards has tethereal the whole memory for itself and still another part
of the Swapfile.

Ask at you, since i am not Script expert.

Does someone have a Script, which starts tethereal again after a certain
time / event?
Here clear log files would be important, since it concerns a long-term
observation.
