Hi All,

I've tried to use tethereal to capture some packets. I want it to rotate file every 15 seconds, and has successfully performed this in Solaris, but under WinXP this is not successful. I've tried these parameters:

"C:\Program Files\Ethereal\tethereal" -a "filesize:1" -b "duration:15" -b "fi
les:10" -n -i 2 -w test.raw -f "ip and port 80"

and

"C:\Program Files\Ethereal\tethereal" -b "filesize:1" -b "duration:15" -b "fi
les:10" -n -i 2 -w test.raw -f "ip and port 80"

In both cases, the "filesize" and "files" parameters seem to work fine but the "duration" parameter has no effect no matter what value I put there.

Has anyone come across this problem before? Thank you.

Br,
John
