I used to be able to use ethereal fine (0.10.10 I think, but I'm
really not sure).
Then I recently upgraded to 0.10.12. Whenever I stop a capture, I get the
error message: Child capture process died: signal 30. Here's what I'm running:

tylerdurden:~/$ ethereal -v
ethereal 0.10.12

Compiled with GTK+ 2.2.4, with GLib 2.4.6, with libpcap 0.8.3, with libz 1.1.4,
with libpcre 4.2, without UCD-SNMP or Net-SNMP, without ADNS.

Running with libpcap version 0.8.3 on Darwin 7.9.0.
tylerdurden:~/$ uname -a
Darwin tylerdurden 7.9.0 Darwin Kernel Version 7.9.0: Wed Mar 30
20:11:17 PST 2005; root:xnu/xnu-517.12.7.obj~1/RELEASE_PPC Power
Macintosh powerpc
tylerdurden:~/$

I used Fink to download and compile this version, as I did with the
last version.
Also, when I tell a capture to stop automatically, such as after 5 seconds,
it doesn't. It always says "No packets" (along the bottom), even if the
Capture -> Interfaces window shows packets going along the wire.
I'm listening on a wireless interface (en1).

Does anyone have any ideas why the process dies when I tell it to stop?

Thanks,

Adam
