Larry, There are lots of stats available from tethereal, so it is hard to give a specific answer. The most basic stats are those from the "-z io,stats," option. The simple command " ./tethereal -R null -z io,stat,1" will give results like =================================================================== IO Statistics Interval: 1.000 secs Column #0: | Column #0 Time |frames| bytes 000.000-001.000 3 256 001.000-002.000 1 62 002.000-003.000 2 122 003.000-004.000 1 60 004.000-005.000 4 244 =================================================================== Depending on your skill, you could produce a script to munge this output and create the approriate graph input file. Stats available with the -z option include -z argument must be one of : wsp, stat, http, tree http_req,tree plen, tree ptype, tree isup_msg,tree dests, tree ip_hosts,tree http_srv,tree smb,rtt smb, sids sip, stat sctp, stat rpc, programs rpc, rtt, io,phs proto, colinfo, mgcp, rtd conv, io,stat, http, stat, h225,srt h225,counter gsm_a, dcerpc, rtt, bootp, stat, ansi_a, You might want to refer to some work I published a few years ago - http://www.ethereal.com/lists/ethereal-dev/200305/msg00128.html (The example piccie and code is near the bottom of the posting). I haven't done a whole lot more on this since unfortunately.
