Hi,
Does the audio playback process preserve network conditions?

In constructing the audio file from the captured packets, the timestamps
of the frames could be used to mimic the delay and jitter in the audio
file. Alternatively, the timestamps could be ignored and the audio file
could be constructed as if every frame arrived immediately after the
preceding frame. The former method would produce a faithful
representation of the listener's experience, while the later method
brings with it the possibility of hiding problems in the network audio
stream.

Thanks,

David Hiers
