I can imagine that. It is just that the list discussion is the first and
only(?) source for me to check if something relevant has happened in the
code related to my problem (to avoid unnecessary queries to the list
members). Is there a change log for the SVN available, with brief summaries
(a discussion provided in you replay is of course even more than that) of
the changes in particular subversion?

You could subscribe to the ethereal-cvs list (the name is historical) - a message is sent for each checkin, with the checkin comment, a list of files changed, and a link to the "anonymous Subversion" Web site that produces an entry for the change that lets you look at the changes.

There might be a way to get the log for a particular version from the svn command, or from various GUI front ends to Subversion; you can also go to

	http://anonsvn.ethereal.com/viewcvs/viewcvs.py?rev={revision}&view=rev

where "{revision}" is the revision number.
