Hi,
I have a question (surprise, surprise :-). For my studies I need to find (or write, which would be the NON-preferred solution) a tool which can get statistics out of a capture file, such as tcp retransmits, tcp lost acks, dup acks, etc.
Now I truly have no clue about how EXACTLY this is done - but our friend ethereal can do this beautifully. Alas I need it in numbers, not in a graphical interface. So a text mode tool performing exactly this would be highly appreciated, but I can't find one. 

Maybe anyone in here knows where to find such a thing?
