in a Google search; it says that it's in the original DEC/Intel/Xerox spec, but not documented anywhere else, and he links to a PDF made by scanning (but *not* OCRing) that part of the spec.
I've checked in a dissector that *should* properly dissect those frames, although I've not tested it yet (I think I have captures that contain loopback frames).
