Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] monitoring total bytes transferred per day?

I haven't used Ethereal before, but it looks like it has lots of features.

Can it monitor (and log) the total number of bytes transferred per day?  I'd
like to keep track of that number since our ISP contract has a gb/month
limit.  At this point I don't want to canture or examine any packets, just
keep an eye on the total amount of traffic.

Or perhaps there is a better (simpler) tool somewhere?
