Hello,
I installed ethereal on HP-UX 11.11 using binary depots from "Software porting and archive centre for HP-UX".
Ethereal and other software versions it required were following (also installed in following order) :
  • bison                        1.875
  • flex                           2.5.4a
  • expat                        1.95.8           
  • libiconv                     1.9.2
  • gettext                      0.14.1
  • glib                           1.2.10
  • libpcap                     0.8.3           
  • zlib                           1.2.1
  • gtk+                         1.2.10
  • ethereal                    0.9.15
 I tried to run ethereal, but result was Memory Fault(coredump).
 
Any ideas ? Are the above versions compatible with each other?
