Hello,
have same problems on win me.
neither reinstall of ethereal, WinPcap3.0, nor changing gtk-options didn't solve that.
0.10.5/0.10.5a didn't work, too.
Finaly I installed 0.10.4 that works for me. That's really not the best solution, 
but I got a working installation.
