Hi,

There is a problem with the merge feature implemented in the GUI in 
version 0.10.5, take care that the
prepend and the  append options  work  exactly reverted from what it 
should be if you
read the tooltips boxes that appears.

Ex.:  if you choose  append then the packets of the file you just 
selected to open are merged before
       the packets that were already displayed !

*One other comment*.  There is no place to put your file name when using 
the specify a Capture File feature
by selecting the folder.  You have to select the folder than open a 
dummy file and then rename tha last portion
of the line.

Is it me that misconfigured my ethereal or it is really like this ?

I'm using  0.10.5a  on an XP machine  IBM T30

I'm using ethereal daily and for sure it is a very good product in fact 
I'm using it more often than
the other one that every one know about  ;)
