Title: Ethereal missing frames?

We are running Ethereal on the client of an FTP session, capturing all traffic w/ no filters.  We are transmitting a file ~90MB large over a switched LAN w/ a MSS of 1460.  This yields at least 61k+ frames needing to be sent w/ no compression and we are only capturing somewhere in the neighborhood of 28k ftp-data frames.  How is it possible that over 30k frames are not being captured on the client?  Is Ethereal possibly missing frames?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks,
