Hi all,

There are some known minor issues with the Ethereal 0.10.1 build released
last week.

1. If you get a warning about an nonexisting file named "default.tt"

Start Ethereal, choose Edit --> Preferences and then click on the Protocols
entry. Select the ASN.1 dissector, and remove the entry from the type table
preference (it will be a file named default.tt).

If you use the ASN.1 plugin dissector, point the type table preference to an
existing, valid ASN.1 type table.

In both cases, the warning disappears.


2. If you try to compile and "Makefile.common" is missing
=========================================================
The official 0.10.1 build did not contain all the files. For example the
Makefile.common file in the gtk directory is missing. There are also some
stock icons (with .xpm extension) that are missing.

You can either download the missing files from the CVS web interface, or
download a nightly snapshot, or wait for the upcoming 0.10.2 release.


A new build (0.10.2) will be released within the next days/hours.
