Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] plotting graphs not possible

Hi,
I am running a controlled SYN Flood attack from my machine for my project  and
tracking the outgoing TCP SYN packets.. then i try to get a graph in Ethereal
using Tools--Statistics--IO stat.. But each time i do it, Ethereal hangs up and
the whole thing stops.. Please let me know if there is any other way of doing
this using Ethereal or if there is any other graph software which can track the
number of outgoing packets and draw a graph.
