Dear Gurus of Networking,

           I am new to the world of network protocol analysis. I am doing a 
project to account the number of bytes that are transmitted through FTP for 
billing purposes. I have installed Ethereal version 0.9.3 compiled with GTK+ 
1.2.10, with GLib 1.2.10, with libpcap 0.6, with libz 1.1.3, with UCD SNMP 
4.2.4 .

           From the Tools : Protocol Hierarchy Statistics, I am able to 
view the number of bytes under FTP Data. Is there any way by which I can 
make Ethereal to transfer the No. of bytes to a billing program as soon as I 
stop capturing the packets?
