Hi,

I’d want to sniff the essid of my wlan on channel 1.

I put the card in monitor mode (iwpriv eth0 monitor 1 1), and start ethereal.

 

What packets should I look for? What is the _expression_ for the filter? I try “wlan_mgt.fixed.current_ap”, but i didn’t capture anything…. L maybe it isn’t the right filter?
