I was wondering, I thought about setting up a box exclusively to run
Ethereal, Tethereal and tcpdump. Since the server itself isn't exactly state
of the art p2 233 w/ 96 megs. I was thinking of setting up another computer
as a bridge with those utils running constantly.
I have not experience with bridges and was wondering is this possible? Would
Ethereal work as I want it to since it would be on a bridge and from what I
understand are invisible to several protocols?
BTW correct me if my understanding is off, I have read very little on this,
the idea just hit me.

My Distro is RH 7.2 with a small (3 client) LAN.
