Ethereal-users: Re: [Ethereal-users] H.450 series

The problem in the capture is that the
capture encodes the unknown things using globalCode which specifies an
object identifier for
the blob that follows.

The infrastructure in ethereal does not know how to use the object
identifier, it only knows how to
dissect these blobs if their content has been described by localOpcode which
is an integer.
(and which is what CODE local xx in the h450.7 standard describes.

I do not have time or knowledge enough to add the infrastructure to ethereal
h.450 to be able to use these
globalCode opcode description values on top of the current localOpcode
values.

Maybe someone else on the list will do this work.

message. According to H.450.7 the conferenceGoal (H.255) should be set to
callIndependentSupplementaryService but this is not recognized by the
ethereal. The only values that can be "seen" are create, invite, join and
capability negotiation. The problem can be in my encoding so can I have, by
any chance, an ethereal capture example of the
callIndependentSupplementaryService value coded in the conferenceGoal?
