I.e., you captured with the "Capture packets in promiscuous mode" turned off?
If so, then this is probably a driver or WinPcap problem - Ethereal doesn't itself know anything about how to tell a driver to run in promiscuous mode, it leaves that up to libpcap/WinPcap, which uses the OS's mechanism for doing that, so it's probably a driver problem. 

Try using WinDump:

and, if that doesn't work either (run it with the "-p" flag to turn promiscuous mode *OFF* - it defaults to promiscuous mode), report the problem to the WinPcap developers:
