id love to figure out how to attempt this myself ...

there are 2 parts ...

1) one in the tree view, id like the ability to select multiple parts of the
packet + send them to another app (as args) ...

2) and @ the bottom of the packet view pane id like to be able to copy the
hex easily (i wish it was in the context as "Copy Hex", "Copy ASCII")

the reason being that if you are analyzing a capture to be able to create
snort rules easier than writing to file first ...
