I just upgraded two of my machines (one running WinXP with Ethereal 0.9.15 
and the other Win2000 with Ethereal 0.0.15) to WinPCAP 3.0 and have noticed 
the following problem with Ethereal:

I click on Capture and then Start.  The Interface combobox shows the text 
name of my one and only network card.  If I press OK I get:

"The capture sessions could not be initiated (Error opening adapter:  The 
system can not find the file specified)"

If after pressing Start I drop down the Interface combobox and select the 
one and only entry, then press OK, it works fine.

With WinPCAP 2.3 there is no problem.
