Sorry for the intrusion, I really only wanted to ask one question (it's a two part question!)

First, why was the Capture menu changed to no longer include a stop-capture function (Ctrl-E)?

Secondly, is there any way to turn off the *incredibly annoying* pop-up stats/control window, or at the very least, make it a child of the main window? It is very frustrating to have to move other windows around or change focus every time I want to restart a capture.
