Pranav,

What drivers are you using with your NetGear card?  You might check out wlan-ng, I think you get the FCS with that driver.

Be sure to configure the Ethereal option to assume FCS as well.

HI All,
Id like to capture the CRC along with the 802.11 packets. Currently i cant capture CRC on my linux(RH7.3) laptop with netgear 11b card and ethereal 0.12.
I know this is not a pure ethereal problem but has some thing to do with the OS and the way it handles packet capture.
But if someone can tell me the procedure as to how to go about it for a linux machine that would be great!!!.
