One such program is NTOP.  It doesn't take the ethereal logs are parse them, but it runs as a stand alone system.  It will give you the information you requested.

Subject: [Ethereal-users] Looking for an utility to digest Ethereal data...

Hi,

I'm new to networking sniffing. I need to detect how my LAN bandwidth is used. I've tryed Ethereal for a while but the amount of information is impressive and too technical. I need some utility capable of mining inside the logs and gives me some insight on which are the consumers of the bandwidth, and if there are devices malfunctioning that are corrupting connections ('cause I have a problem with broken long file transfers)
Can anybody recommend such an utility for using with Ethereal?

Thanks in advance
   Faustino
