That is the alternative I went for! I use ethereal on my Linux PC.

I am "forced" to use UnixWare for an application project, but fortunately
I can do most of the debugging from another host on the network. Sometimes
it would be nice to be able to do the packet capturing on UnixWare though,
in order to debug connections between local processes going through the
local loop interface. Those can't be seen by ethereal running on a different
host. But as I said, I was never able to capture. At the time that was very
annoying after going through all that installation/building pain.
