I am alsoe facing the same problem while loading the big capture file.
Ethereal crashes while loading the big captuure file.
Any help or suggestion is highly appreciated...

I have an Ethereal Capture File that is too big to load into Ethereal.
Is there a way to filter from the command line into a new file? i.e. filter 
all traffic from a certain address into a new file?
