Hi guys,

I was wondering if someone could tell me what type of protocol 0x8102 is? I saw an Ethernet II frame with this type while sniffing one of my networks. The frame was a sort of beacon (this is a guess; it was the minimum frame size of 64 bytes) and my Baynetworks (NORTEL) routers were looping it back to themselves every 5 seconds or so.

Thanks.

Ade
