See mplayer sources for some detail (DOCS/tech/reaplayer/ directory).

I haven't found anything about is in mplayers DOCS directory, but
looking at the sources of mplayer's wmp support may help.

AFAIK netmeeting uses H.323 with some M$-specicific ldap-"extensions".
Older versions reportedly also supported SIP (but not any more).

I found out that "pro" means "instead of" (as in proconsul). Now I know
what proactive means.
