Title: TCP analysis and Out-Of-Order packets

Hi,

Thanks to Ronnie Sahlberg [ronnie_sahlberg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] mail of 1/21/2003.

We have been using the TCP analysis stuff and found it very useful.

We have found one issue thou.
The analysis does not appear to handle TCP frames received out of order.
It displays the packet as TCP re-transmission which its not, just arrived late :-(

Attached is a small trace of the issue. Packet 12 should have arrived before packet 10.

I have all the options under TCP preferences enabled. Ethereal 0.9.9 Windows Binary.

Cheers
Giles Scott
