Hi,

I am digging this from an old email but I have no answers to my question and so I am turning to the experts.

Does anybody here know how to automate this process of installing the Network monitor driver on windows 2000? Automation could be an installshield thing or command line thing. Is there any tool out there that will do this.

Also, On Windows, after changing the registry setting that controls the TCP window Size, the computer needs to be rebooted. Does anybody know any way to work around the reboot. Is it possible to just restart some service so that the new window size can take effect?

thanks in advance,
Abhijeet

Not totally correct.
At least under Win2k professional, I was able to install the netmon device
without having netmon.
The procedure is is explained at http://winpcap.polito.it/misc/dialup.htm.
I don't make this page public yet because I don't know if the procedure
works on other machines/OSes (NT4, XP...) and, if it works, I don't know to
enable it on different OSes.
Therefore, I will be happy to receive feedback from the users that try it.
