Hi, folks:

    setup
    --------
    Red Hat Linux v7.1, kernel 2.4.2-2, ethereal 0.9.2 with GTK+ 1.2.9, Glib
1.2.9, libpcap 0.7 final, libz 1.1.3

    problem
    -----------
    after capturing some packets using prismdump & opening the file on
ethereal, each & evert beacon, and most of the management frames, show up as
"malformed Packet: IEEE 802.11". Is this a known bug in ethereal or is
prismdump forgetting to write some of the packet contents? has anyone
experienced anything similar? capture files available upon request !
