Hmm, maybe editing /etc/manuf (path may be different) and replacing
00:00:00        XEROX CORPORATION
by
00:00:00        00:00:00
might work - not tested.

I found out that "pro" means "instead of" (as in proconsul). Now I know
what proactive means.
