Hi Mat.

I'm running Win2k SP2 and Ethereal 0.8.18. I installed
the MS Loopback Adapter then ran ipconfig to ensure that
the adapter had been assigned an IP address. I then
accessed the IIS webserver running locally on this machine
using both the Loopback Adapter IP and my NIC IP. I then
started a capture session and selected the Loopback adapter
in the "interface" field, but no HTTP traffic between my
webserver and browser was captured. I then selected my
NIC in the "interface" field and saw the same results
(no traffic captured).

Maybe this problem is Windows specific?
