I was very confused because I thought tethereal was following the same options as tcpdump or windump, in which case then the -n option would keep it from doing this port name translation. So it would be very nice to make sure it is evident to users that this option is not the same between tethereal and tcpdump, if it's not going to be possible to have the effect of the options the same in the 2 products, IMHO. Thanks for your attention.
